I began my career with Peter Alvarez Salon in 2001 where I learned the fundamentals of cutting, coloring and styling while really digesting Peter’s philosophy about wash and wear hair. I learned some invaluable lessons from a master, but most importantly how to trust my instincts. I believe that your client will tell you exactly what she wants if you ask the right questions. Her daily life, job and beauty habits are instrumental in finding the right style.
I had the opportunity to work as a stylist for Mark Johnson, at Seven Salon Spa. He has had his own extensive career in runway and editorial work while he was a stylist in New York City and taught me so much about how to be a successful stylist. Editorial work was a natural progression for my career. I have had my work published in Town and Country, First Magazine, and Berkshire Magazine. I’ve had to pleasure of working with models for Jane Iredale campaigns, as well as catalog work for local and international businesses. My beautiful brides work has been featured all over the internet on websites such as Style Me Pretty and Carrots and Cake. I love my work. I enjoy my weekdays filled with clients who are like friends and family. I love my summer Saturdays with boisterous bridal parties. I love to be creative and work with models that come from all over the world. I am truly blessed. |
